Gosh Italia Maserati SUV Grecale All-New SUV was supposed to debut at the end of 2021, but the shortcomings of global chips had other plans. While waiting for the official debut of Grecale in Spring 2022, Maserati has released a short video from the disguised Yahal (as usual) who did a winter test in Lapland.

The latest Maserati Grecale will be a slot under the Levante performance SUV and drive Giorgio Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) architecture, the same basics used by the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan and Steelvio Compact SUV.

In addition, Maserati prepares an all-electric grecale SUV that might not be seen until later in 2022 or early 2023. However, at first it will arrive with a gasoline-powered internal combustion engine developed at home by Maserati. The teaser image of Grecale began to multiply in mid 2020, but Maserati remained mother on the capacity of the engine and horsepower figure.

Grecale pulled his name after a ferocious northeast wind in the Mediterranean Sea, and of course it looks like it’s based on Maserati video above. Cold testing Glades Sweden allows Maserati engineers to hone vehicle dynamics through various surfaces, snow, and ice. With temperatures starting from “some degree above zero” to as low as -30 degrees C, it is also an opportunity to perfect traction, understeer, and characteristics of the Oversteer Compact SUV in different drive modes.

“Grecale is an extraordinary everyday even in frozen temperatures on the expanse of snow as far as the eye looks at,” added Maserati. In addition, Grecale will display in-cabin technology called Maserati’s personal assistant which is supported by Android Automotive OS and two 10.25-inch display displays, the main reason why Maserati consistently experienced delays in its creation. Experts claim the lack of semiconductors can last until early 2023, so we keep our fingers cross this one.

We have to wait until spring to see if Yahal is ready to debut its global. Meanwhile, Maserati will also reveal Gen NEXT Granturismo and Grancabrio in two variants: gasoline and electricity. With luck, both vehicles will reach a showroom no later than 2024.
